Yes, we acknowledge we neglected to post the details about NNTC #9, but anywho, we’re on to NNTC #10 and the return of our regularly-scheduled monthly Nerd Nite. Let’s get Nerdy by Nature this month.

Where: Tank Space (1110 East Eighth Street, Traverse City, MI)

When: Thursday, May 29th, 7 – 9p (doors open at 6:30p)

How: Show up! There is no cover for this event, but seats are limited and first come, first served.

What: If you want to know how freaking awesome toads are or how the plight of passenger pigeons in Northern Michigan, come join us! Nick Roster, a science and math instructor at NMC will talk to us about “Amphibians (toads in particular) and Why They are Sooooo Cool.” Jess Piskor, a long-time Leelanau County resident, will regale us with “Once more unto the Beech, Passenger Pigeons and the Struggle to Survive in Northern Michigan.”
